Vashon Industries Inc. is an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Hispanic-owned small disadvantaged business based in Central Florida. We help federal agencies — particularly the VA, VHA, DHA, and HHS — deliver on their missions with disciplined, culturally fluent, and quantitatively rigorous support.

Vashon Industries exists to close two gaps we see every day in federal contracting: the need for high-quality small-business subcontracting participation that primes can trust to defend at source selection, and the need for genuine bilingual capability — built in from the start, not bolted on as after-the-fact translation.
Our founder combines an MBA (University of Miami), a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, U.S. Coast Guard service, and native English/Spanish fluency. That combination sits at an unusual and useful intersection: management-consulting fluency, healthcare-mission understanding, veteran identity, and language capability — all in one credentialed firm.

Karin founded Vashon Industries in 2020 to bring MBA-credentialed management consulting and native bilingual delivery to the VA and federal healthcare enterprise. His background combines an MBA from the University of Miami, a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University, and U.S. Coast Guard service.
He leads Vashon's federal delivery from Central Florida, with direct focus on the Veterans Health Administration, VISN 8, the Defense Health Agency, and HHS programs serving Hispanic and Latino communities.
